Siam Terrace

There are alot of good Thai food options in C-U, but my faveorite is Siam Terrace. I rely on them mostly for the convienience of being in Urbana, but also because they have a wide variety on their menu. Siam Terrace is a nice option for dining in, but I have also gotten takeout several times with great success. When I eat at Siam, I typically get:

• Tom Kha Gai Soup: This makes a great appetizer, but I also really enjoy it as a meal. The soup is hot and full of flavor - it is spicy, creamy, citrus-y, and herbal tasting all at once. The mushrooms are my faverite part, as they are always cooked to perfection.


• Panang Curry: I like spicy food, but I actually haven't tried anything spicier than the Panang Curry at Siam Terrace. I haven't gotten around to it because this one is so good! The curry sauce is thick and sweet, and the vegetables and noodles balance out the spice well.


• Firecracker Chicken: This dish is pretty popular, because the breaded chicken and sauce is a classic combination. I really like the bell peppers and peanuts in it too. It won't come spicy unless you ask for it, so all tastebuds should enjoy this chicken meal.
